Our Split Drawer Bloomers, also known as pantaloons, are a historically accurate and comfortable alternative to the restrictive dresses worn by women in the 19th century.
Made from a white, breathable polyester-cotton blend broadcloth, these bloomers feature elastic at the waist and bottom pant leg for a comfortable fit. We have added white lace at the bottom of the legs for an extra detailed look.
They are suitable for Victorian, Civil War, and historical reenactment events, as well as for costumes and cosplay. They were developed in the 19th century as a healthful and comfortable alternative to American women's heavy, constricting dresses. They take their name from Amelia Bloomer, a prominent women's rights activist who advocated for the garment as a symbol of women's liberation and equality.
These undergarments are designed to be worn as an alternative to traditional petticoats.

What size should I order?
Please, refer to the size chart. The size chart is located as a photo in the listing, and the directions to measure are located on the size chart. We have made the size chart strictly on the costumes we have manufactured.
If you are unsure of your measurements, please measure your favorite NON-STRETCH comparable garment.
*We have many different styles of medieval wear, all with their unique fit and size charts.
When will the item I want be back in stock?
If you go to the listing: select the size and color you want, then click on the "let me know when it is back" button. ETSY will send you a message/email when we have restocked the item.
We have no control over who purchases each garment, nor do we have access to the restock requests/waiting list. Items are purchased on first-come-first-served bases.
